earthquake in 1995. during that time we saw churches mobilized to serve surrounding community. it was an opportunity to practically share the love of christ with those who is world had crumbled to the ground. i believe actually the church's response in 1995 contribute d to some degree of spiritual renewal. in terms of what i personally heard so far. towards the sendai direction, a call for churches and believers to be on alert and respond in whatever ways needed and possible. the government will be doing their part to respond to this crisis. i am also very much hopeful and confident that the church will do what the church alone can do
